Zambia mix crystals: Amethyst, Pyromorphite, Anhydrite – 1 unique flat
This diverse flat contains selected specimens from several renowned Zambian localities: purple amethyst from Serenje, vivid pyromorphite from the Broken Hill Mine in Kabwe, and rare anhydrite from the G-Pit in Kitwe. The crystals feature a range of forms—from compact aggregates to well-developed prismatic crystals, often accompanied by contrasting matrix—highlighting the rich mineral diversity of Zambia.
All pieces come from older collection stock and represent classic examples from Zambia’s most famous deposits. Of particular note is the Broken Hill Mine (Kabwe), world-renowned for its exceptional secondary minerals, as well as Kitwe, the heart of the Zambian Copperbelt with its distinctive parageneses. The flat shown is exactly the collection on offer.
