Schorl crystal groups and single crystals from the well-known Erongo area in Namibia. The pieces display sharply developed, glossy black tourmaline crystals with typical prismatic habits and in some cases well-formed terminations. The flat includes a range of sizes and growth habits with characteristic quality.
Especially notable is the high luster of the crystal faces and the variation from isolated crystals to compact clusters. Several specimens show associated minerals such as albite or quartz on matrix, enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal. The collection comes from an older source and presents a fine assortment of classic Erongo specimens in selected quality.
The flat and the folding boxes are not included but can be purchased separately.
