Natural inclusions, fine internal structures and variations in transparency give each stone its own individual character. Rock Crystal is the colourless and transparent variety of Quartz and consists of silicon dioxide. It is one of the best-known minerals and occurs worldwide in a wide range of geological environments. Its characteristic features include high transparency and a vitreous lustre.
