Miniature specimen Pyrargyrite mass from the  McLaughlin mine, CA, USA, Gordon Nelson Collection.

Rich dense masses, grading to crystalline, of this rare silver ore in/on quartz matrix. Actually, a mixture of Pyrargyrite & Miargyrite. A classic from this long-reclaimed California locality. Ex Gordon Nelson collection. He was a geologist at this mine for years.
