Moonstone Crystals (Oligoclase) on Matrix from St. Eulalia, Chihuahua, Mexico – One small cabinet specimen as a unique piece.

This distinctive specimen features well-formed, translucent Moonstone (Oligoclase) crystals on a natural matrix. The crystals may display prismatic to tabular forms with a subtle, slightly shimmering lustre. Their colours range from milky white and delicate cream tones to pale pink and light brown. Natural inclusions and associated minerals may further enhance the individual appearance. As this is a natural mineral specimen, each unique piece varies in shape, size, crystal development and colour.

Geology & Locality

Oligoclase belongs to the plagioclase series within the feldspar group and can form well-developed crystals under suitable geological conditions. The specimens originate from St. Eulalia in the Mexican state of Chihuahua, a historic mining district renowned for its exceptional mineral diversity and numerous mineral associations. The mineralised veins and cavities of the area have produced a wide variety of crystal formations, making St. Eulalia a well-known locality for collector minerals.
