Application Instructions:
Microscopy Environment
This microscope should be used in a clean, dry, and shock-free environment with a temperature range of 5°–40°C and a maximum relative humidity of 85% (non-condensing). Use a dehumidifier if needed.
Cleaning the Optics
- If optical components need cleaning, first try using compressed air.
- If this is not sufficient: Use a soft, lint-free cloth with water and mild detergent.
- As a final option: Use a cloth dampened with a 3:7 mixture of ethanol and ether.
Note: Ethanol and ether are highly flammable liquids. Do not use them near heat sources, sparks, or electrical equipment. Work in a well-ventilated room. Remember never to wipe optical surfaces with bare hands. Fingerprints can damage the optics. Do not disassemble objectives or eyepieces in an attempt to clean them.
Legal Notes
Safety:
We accept no liability for damages caused by improper and/or non-recommended use. Please carefully check the suitability of the product before alternative use.
Important Notes During and After Use
- The microscope should always be kept vertical during transport to prevent moving parts, such as the eyepieces, from falling out.
- Never handle the microscope improperly or apply unnecessary force.
- Never attempt to service or repair the microscope yourself.
- After use, immediately turn off the light, cover the microscope with the provided dust cover, and store it in a dry and clean place.
Electrical Safety Precautions
- Before connecting the power supply, ensure that the regional voltage matches the operating voltage of the microscope and that the lamp switch is in the OFF position.
- Users must comply with all regional safety regulations.
- The microscope has the CE safety label, but users are fully responsible for safe operation.
If you need to send the microscope for maintenance, please use the original packaging.
