Shape, size and color distribution naturally vary from piece to piece. The picture shows a sample.
Geology & Origin
Hawk’s Eye, also known as Blue Tiger’s Eye, is a fibrous variety of Quartz and is considered a precursor to classic golden-brown Tiger’s Eye. Its characteristic bluish-grey layers are formed by the incorporation and alteration of iron-bearing fibrous minerals within the Quartz. South Africa is one of the classic sources of high-quality Hawk’s Eye and Tiger’s Eye.
Picture shows sample! Item may differ in size, shape and colour from the sample images.
To see the colors better the stones are wetted for some pictures.
