Geology & Origin
The F-2 locality in Central Kazakhstan is a classic occurrence for rare-earth minerals. Fluocerite-(Ce) is a cerium fluoride that forms in fluorine-rich hydrothermal environments or pegmatites, commonly associated with other rare-earth minerals.
