Geology & Origin
Eulytine is a rare bismuth silicate found primarily as a secondary mineral in bismuth-bearing hydrothermal deposits. The historic Schneeberg mining district in the Erzgebirge is known for its diverse hydrothermal mineralization and numerous rare bismuth, cobalt, nickel, and uranium minerals. The Junge Kalbe Mine is one of the mineralogically notable localities within this historic mining district.
