Geology & Origin
Eudialyte is a complex sodium-calcium-zirconium silicate and a characteristic mineral of alkaline igneous rocks. The Kola Peninsula is internationally renowned for its exceptionally mineral-rich alkaline complexes and remarkable diversity of rare mineral species. Eudialyte is one of the characteristic zirconium-bearing minerals of this geological environment.
