Geology & Origin

Davreuxite is a rare phosphate mineral that typically occurs in hydrothermally altered deposits. It forms under specific geochemical conditions and is often associated with other phosphate minerals.

The Recht locality in the Ardennes is known for its complex geology and produces a wide variety of rare mineral species. Collectors especially value this area for its mineralogical diversity and occurrences of unusual phosphates.
