Cylindrite from Mina Candelaria, Poopo, Bolivia – miniature specimen as unique piece

This small miniature specimen shows Cylindrite from Mina Candelaria, Poopó, Bolivia. The piece presents as a compact, elongated aggregate with a metallic luster and a distinctly striated structure. Its silvery grey color and parallel textures give it a very characteristic appearance.

Well formed crystals in the classical sense are not individually developed, but the typical lamellar to fibrous structures of Cylindrite are clearly visible. These appear as fine, parallel, slightly lustrous sections, creating a dynamic and directional surface.

Geology & Origin
