Geology & Origin

Cuprobismutite is a rare copper bismuth sulfide mineral that forms in hydrothermal deposits. It develops under moderate to low temperature conditions and is often associated with other sulfide ores.

The Clara Mine in the Black Forest is one of the most famous mineral localities in Germany and is internationally known for its exceptional diversity of rare minerals. Collectors especially value this locality for its wide range of uncommon and well developed species.
