Geology & Origin
Creedite is a rare calcium-aluminium sulfate-fluoride mineral that typically forms in oxidized zones of hydrothermal deposits. It commonly develops in cavities and fractures, where it can form radiating to spherical crystal aggregates. Mexico is one of the classic source countries for Creedite and is especially known for colourful, well-developed crystal groups of this mineral.
