Top Brenkite crystals from Schellkopf, Brenk, Eifel, Germany – small cabinet specimen as unique piece

This exceptional small cabinet specimen displays rare Brenkite crystals on compact volcanic matrix from the Eifel region. The light to slightly beige crystal areas contrast beautifully with the darker host rock and give the specimen an attractive textured appearance. Several crystal aggregates are clearly developed and show the characteristic habit of this rare mineral. For the classic Schellkopf locality this is a highly collectible specimen.

Geology & Origin

Brenkite is a very rare mineral from the volcanic Eifel region and was named after the locality of Brenk. The Schellkopf area belongs to the classic German localities for rare volcanic minerals and is internationally known among collectors. Well documented specimens with recognizable Brenkite crystals are rarely available and highly valued by collectors of German rarities and Eifel minerals.
