This miniature specimen features Ardaite from Gruvasen, Sweden. Geology & origin
Ardaite is a rare sulfosalt mineral that typically forms in complex hydrothermal ore deposits. It develops under specific geochemical conditions together with other sulfide minerals and usually occurs in massive form. The locality Gruvasen in Sweden is known for such mineral rich occurrences where rare sulfosalts were concentrated by hydrothermal processes.
