Aikinite from Sweden – miniature specimen as unique piece

The specimen comes from Gladhammar, Sweden, a classic European locality for various ore minerals. Aikinite is a rare sulfosalt of bismuth, copper, and sulfur that crystallizes in the orthorhombic system. It typically occurs in massive to granular aggregates and, due to its composition and limited occurrences, is considered a sought-after collector’s mineral.
