Adamite crystals from Mapimí, Mexico: This specimen features numerous small crystals arranged in an aesthetically pleasing formation. Adamite is well known for its brilliant transparency and frequent UV-reactivity – several crystals on this piece show strong fluorescence under ultraviolet light. The fine crystal structures form attractive clusters across the surface.

The Ojuela Mine near Mapimí in Durango, Mexico, is one of the most significant classic localities for Adamite worldwide. Its oxidation zones have produced impressive secondary minerals for decades, highly valued by collectors across the globe.
