Geology & Origin
Euchroite is a rare hydrated copper arsenate that forms as a secondary mineral in the oxidation zones of copper-bearing deposits. Ľubietová in Slovakia is the type locality for Euchroite and is one of the classic European localities for rare secondary copper minerals. Euchroite was first described from material originating from this historic mining district.
