This distinctive pendant features a natural Agate geode with an open druzy cavity and a decorative gold-coloured metal setting. The Agate displays varied banding in white, grey, beige, brown and orange tones, while fine Quartz crystals have formed inside the open geode. The natural cavity remains clearly visible, giving each pendant a highly individual appearance. The gold-coloured edging follows the irregular outline of the stone and creates an attractive contrast with the natural colours of the Agate.

Agate is a banded variety of Chalcedony and belongs to the Quartz group. Geodes form in natural cavities within rock, where mineral-rich solutions can deposit material over long periods of time. This process often creates characteristic Agate layers, while small Quartz crystals may form in the remaining cavity, producing the typical druzy interior.

As this is a natural product, each pendant is unique. The pieces vary considerably in shape, size, colour, banding, cavity shape and crystal formation. The product pictures therefore show sample pieces.

Usage Notes

To help preserve the jewellery, protect the pendant from strong impacts and prolonged contact with water, perfume or harsh cleaning agents. If necessary, clean it with a soft, dry cloth.
